ColourPop says that their blushes are buildable, so even if the blush in the pan looks intense and bright, just remember that you can build it to your desired intensity.
I have heard that the feel of their blushes and eyeshadows are compared to Maybelline's Bouncy Blushes. I have never tried those out, because I heard they weren't very pigmented. When I press down on ColourPop's blush with my finger, the product does not bounce back up, it just leaves an indent. But it does not effect the performance or pigmentation of the blush.
The box does warn that you have to keep the lid tightly screwed on to the jar. I assume that is so the product will not dry out.
Oh, my, I cannot believe how adorable all the packaging is! ColourPop even puts a lot of thought into their boxes. I appreciate that so much, because it makes the whole experience of unboxing even more fun!

The pot that this comes in fits into the palm of my hand, so it is not overly large. Yet, it would be a bit bulky to travel with, so I do not know if this is a blush that I would take with me on any travels that I go on if I want to save on space in my cosmetics bag.
Again, the top screws off; just remember to screw it back on tightly when you are done!

On ColourPop's website, they describe this color as a mid-tone warm coral in a satin finish. I will not lie, the picture on their website is a much more toned down light peach color than what I received in the mail!
As you can see from the pictures above, in the pan, this is a bright reddish-orange color. It looked extremely intense and a little intimidating when I first saw it...

As you can see from the swatches above, even though the color is bright in the pan, it is very wearable! On the left I swatched the blush pretty heavily to give you an idea of how this would look built up in the skin. On the right, I sheered it out where you can see how it would look when worn on a normal every day basis.
It is so very pretty and I am so very happy with this color, The satin finish gives the cheeks a subtle glow and a pretty peachy-pink color. This lasts on my cheeks an average of around six hours before noticeable fading occurs, which is average for my skin.
Overall, I am very pleased with ColourPop Super Shock Cheek blushes, because they are buildable, yet pigmented. For $8.00 each, it is not a bad price, because this will last a very long time since all you need is a little bit for it to go a long way!
If you have tried ColourPop's Super Shock Cheek blushes, please tell me which ones are your favorites so that I can try them out for myself!
Have A Wonderful Day!
